Submission for a book called The Literary Journal at school. I meant to enter it my three previous years of being a high school student, but I would always procrastinate / forget. And so, I might as well leave my mark this year and try to earn some prizes.

Anyway, this is just a girl watching the road before her crumble. This is symbolic of death (note the flower in her hands), and it is created in response to the Every Fifteen Minutes event at school. I wanted to draw her on top of a car hood looking down at her own lifeless form. However, not only can I not draw cars to save my life, but it is also a little too...bloody for something like a schoolwide book.

Yes, that is a "No Dumping" sign on the gutter. :P

Having been part of that very program I have to say...this is absolutely incredible...One kind of gets the feeling that the world is falling apart around her. Very well done, lovely.

Thank you so much, sweetheart. They had it in the school newspaper (dunno if I told you)...and it kind of brought the memories back. I hope that with this I can get all the tension out of my system :heart:

Hmm, interesting concept. :) I like the way you pulled it off- the perspective on the road and sidewalk is really well done. :envyenvyenvy: XD; I'm just kidding. I just find man made things very irritating/boring to draw... therefore I probably don't try as much as I should when drawing them lol.

Anyway, great job on the girl as always- your humans always look very nice. Your knowledge of anatomy is very very good- I admire you. :3 I wasn't that good when I was in high school.

And last, it's good to see something traditionally done from you once in a while! :) Goes to show that you can do both digital and traditional. :3 And most colleges/businesses/whatevers like to see that.

Wow, this is great. The shading is wonderful, and the drawing is practically perfect!!
