Full-color, full-body version of my original Kingdom Hearts character, Roary Bernard. I would like some opinions on the colors and such, and maybe the wardrobe itself, if you all don't mind, so that I can change her around a bit and make a fully rendered image. I'll include a bio with that image, or maybe add it onto this one a little later.
...woah. First, I love his eye; it's beautiful. His design is so intricate with detail and little bits about Disney and KH, that it makes him seem all the more authentic. He seems like a knight to the king, or a collector of Heartless' hearts for Mickey
-- The reason we think the flowers on the precipice are beautiful, is because we are standing on the precipice as well. Do not fear, because we are like the flowers,
Two things that stick out the most in this would be the beautiful color scheme and that I actually thought it was a guy at first. I'm sorry D:. However, reading the description and taking another look, it does look like a girl character.
Details are wonderful and all the familiar symbols in her design make me wonder about her origins. The overall design looks and feels like a mix between a British coat and pirate garb, in two words, aristocratic rogue.
Can't wait to see the finalized version. :]
I love the outfit. Whether or not this makes sense, it matches the expression perfectly. The perspective on the legs up to the hips is spectacular. The colors work well together.
The double zipper is oh-so Squeenix of you.
The cuff-thing, though, is it meant to be that big?
As usual, absolutely awesome character design... Loving the eye and the giant zipper is incredibly well done...
I also thought the character was male when I first viewed her and so I took the time to analyze why that was so...I hope that's ok with you. Firstly, the lip area is really wide...most female characters have a smaller lip area. Secondly, though I see hips, I don't really see any breast definition. Of course, not all characters have or need ginormous boobies, but even the smallest ladies have something that makes you think boobie... Thirdly, the size of the hands and the shape of them are very masculine...perhaps make them a little smaller and make the tips a little less blunt. Connected with the hands are the forearms...they also look very manly and muscular...softening those lines as well would help convey female more. Lastly, the feet...I know that in KH, they tend to give the characters really large shoes...so it's kinda hard to stay true to that and make the feet more feminine...a small heal would help perhaps?
The color scheme, the saucy bent to her hips, her expression, the line art, the small details that call attention to different parts of the image...everything is fantastically and professionally done.
