AX full recap
OptimismSo instead of doing a day by day recap because the internet here sucks and I was just so tired that I couldn't keep up with myself, here's a full recap:
I probably will not attend AX as an artist ever again.
Despite how many times people I know who have done AA at AX have told the AA staff that the space behind the tables is too small, yet again, it was too small. There were exposed staples, the display rules were stricter than they let on, and the rules were vastly different for the dealer's hall as opposed to AA. For example, while artists could not play any sort of music from their tables, dealers were able to blast it to the point where it was hard to hear customers.
I voiced my complaints to the AA staff via the AA feedback session, but we'll see what happens.
On the flipside, Copic interviewed me with a few questions about how I like their markers, AND I attended the Cartoon Network portfolio review.
They want me to apply for an internship next summer.

I also got to meet the amazing =lone-momo (with whom I did a print trade), =spectrosity, and =frozenlilacs, with whom I had the amazing opportunity to do a sketch trade with. I am unworthy.
I met so many people from deviantART, too, and you are all so amazing. It was a thrill to meet so many of my fans, and one of them even had me sign their badge!! (toss me your screenname because I'm an idiot and I forgot to write it down!!)
Anyway, tomorrow is a buffer day in which I will be visiting a couple of my cousins in Rancho Cucamonga, then I'll be heading to Anaheim for DISNEYLLLLAAAANNNDDD.
